On Sunday, February 11, 2007, the congregation of St. John voted overwhelmingly to proceed with the construction of our new worship center. After 20 years of dreaming, planning, fundraising and prayer — the people of St. John are stepping out in faith to grow our church community.

A new worship center will provide additional opportunities for outreach, evangelism and growth that are not feasible or possible in our current space.  This is a bold step we are taking, but as people of faith in God's amazing grace, we are called to share Christ's unconditional love with our neighbors, our community and the world.

The future home of St. John

For 92 years, the people of St. John have faithfully worshipped at our 215 W. Wallace location. A new worship center is now on the horizon.

Our building site on North Union is located between Will Rogers Elementary and the Shawnee Middle School.

An after-school program, to provide a clean, safe environment for the youth of our community and to assist working parents is planned for this facility.
