On Sunday, February 11, 2007, the congregation of St. John voted overwhelmingly to proceed with the construction of our new worship center. After 20 years of dreaming, planning, fundraising and prayer — the people of St. John stepped out in faith to grow our church community.

The new worship center provides additional opportunities for outreach, evangelism and growth that were not feasible or possible in our prevous space.  This is a bold step we took, but as people of faith in God's amazing grace, we are called to share Christ's unconditional love with our neighbors, our community and the world.

For 92 years, the people of St. John faithfully met to worship at 215 W. Wallace. A new worship center is now open.

Our new home on North Union is located between Will Rogers Elementary and the Shawnee Middle School.

An after-school program, to provide a clean, safe environment for the youth of our community and to assist working parents is planned for this facility.
