Women of St. John

WELCA 

WELCA is a network of almost 500,000 women who make a difference in the world because God has made a difference in their lives.  It's mission is to mobilize Women to Act Boldly on their Faith in Jesus Christ.

The organization builds on the strong history of women's missionary movements, Bible study, and service.  WELCA commits to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society and the world.

St. John WELCA

As a group of Christian women, our local WELCA chapter participates in all phases of church ministry.

The women of St. John serve on the church council, provide leadership training, social services, support the Food Pantry, participate in altar guild, coordinate special event meals, Sunday School and youth activities,  and provide other fellowship opportunities.

True to our calling, all activities point to God and are performed in the name of Jesus and bear witness to the gospel.
