Equine events are recognized as inherently dangerous activities. As this is an equine event, all riders or participants will be required to read and accept the following terms:

Liability Waiver and Release

In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Western Fair Trail Ride organized by St. John Lutheran Church (the “Event”) the undersigned Participant agrees to assume all risks incidental to such participation (including without limitation, injury or loss to person or property). Each of the undersigned hereby agrees to release and forever discharge St. John Lutheran Church, the City of Prague and any individual or animal owner associated with the Event from any and all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any nature whatsoever, whether in law or equity, known or unknown, that any of the undersigned ever had, now has or hereafter can, shall or may have against St. John Lutheran Church, the City of Prague or any individual or animal owner associated with the Event arising out of or in any way related, directly or indirectly, to Participant’s participation in the Event.

Each of the undersigned parent(s) or guardian(s) of Participant hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless St. John Lutheran Church, the City of Prague and any individual or animal owner associated with the Event from and against any and all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any nature whatsoever, whether in law or equity, known or unknown, incurred by or arising out of or in any way related, directly or indirectly, to Participant’s participation in such Event. Each of the undersigned parent(s) or guardian(s) of Participant hereby ratifies Participant’s execution of this waiver and release form. At least one parent or guardian of Participant must sign this form if Participant is under the age of 21, in order for Participant to participate in any Activity.
